Hello and welcome!
Twenty Tabs is the online portfolio of me, Vincent Tsu. I am a director, editor, and motion graphics designer based in Los Angeles. I was born in Hong Kong and grew up in Cupertino, California. I graduated in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in Film and Television from UCLA.
I've designed titles and motion graphics for feature films and documentaries (FAST AND FURIOUS, SONS OF ANARCHY, A SMALL ACT) and my short films have screened at film festivals and events across the United States and Canada.
I recently completed titles and graphics for the feature documentary, A SMALL ACT, which had its world premiere at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival. The film will make its television debut on HBO on July 12.
In 2005, I edited actor Corbin Bernsen's (MAJOR LEAGUE, L.A. LAW) directorial feature debut, CARPOOL GUY. A DVD of the film is available for purchase on Amazon.com.
My short film, WALKING BETWEEN THE LINES, screened at the 2005 Cinequest Film Festival and San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival. The film was selected to be included on the Second Sight: Cinequest Short Films DVD series, which highlights some of the best films from the festival. The DVD can also be purchased at Amazon.com. In addition to this website, the film can also be seen online at Jaman.com.
My list of corporate and educational clients include Warner Bros. Music, MGA Entertainment, MTV, and UCLA.

The name Twenty Tabs grew out of conversation I had with a friend about our web surfing habits. Both of us admitted we were chronic multi-taskers; at any given time, we'll have twenty or more "tabs" open in a web browser. Around this same time, I was thinking about what to name this website. I thought the name Twenty Tabs had a nice alliterative ring to it, and it reflects the many occupational "hats" I wear and the varied interests I have in the creative field.
